Cool blockout, I think there was a bit of an overcorrection on the movement, but I like where this is going in the Cruelty-esque sense.
Even as it is, its simplicity is pretty fun as an arcade, as somewhat uninteresting the level design may be.

Funny you should mention that.
I watched cyberpunk edge runners and it bad touched my brain and made me cry to the point I felt motivated to take breaks from the cringy cyber punk "GONK" slang to make a bionic system where I forcefully flatter various movement systems from games I pog and made sandevistans.

It was great

It made me cry

... if you didn't watch it, I recommend you do, it's great. made me cry. nothing makes me cry.

You know when you're done a visual novel and you have "story inertia"

like, you're IN AND INVESTED IN THE WORLD... and then it just ends?

and you feel empty cuz your brain is still going there?

That is the feeling.

THAT is the feeling.

Games and shows that just fucking END on a high note are like, woa.

woa...

How do I continue with my life if I can't get any more David Martinez into my veins???????

I know that the CD project peeps won't do another "that specific" story but like, I hope they make some more cyber-crunk stuff with trigger and the same writers and directors. hope they do, and probably will, the anime gave it a good tertiary wind.
